At the Mundell Group, we have established a basic three appointment process. This allows us to really dig deep and get to know people on a personal level. The first meeting is where we identify your concerns and ask any questions from family dynamics to finances. In the second meeting we provide you with a comprehensive plan IN WRITING to address all of your concerns in chronological order. We then leave you with all of the information to review! In the third meeting we will begin chipping away together, one small step at a time, at a plan to make you \u201cbulletproof\u201d in your retirement!<\/p>\n

\"\"James F. Mundell<\/strong>
\nPresident, Financial Advisor<\/em><\/p>\n

James F. Mundell is president and primary financial advisor for the Mundell Group. James attended Walsh University to kick off his financial career. Working for companies such as Prudential Insurance, Financial Horizons, and Banc One, he completed his Life, Health, & Annuity Licensing as well as his Securities Licensing to become a stock broker. \u00a0However, in 2008 Jim converted his broker\u2019s license to a fee based planner as an Investment Advisor under the firm he established, Mundell Asset Management, LLC.<\/p>\n

Jim\u2019s recent activities include advising clients on the core values of the Mundell Group, which include, \u2018the team planning approach\u2019<\/em> and \u2018a mutual selfless concern for the well-being of others and their futures\u2019<\/em>, as well as the color of money, the 4 pillars of the U.S. economy, Medicaid, Probate concerns, retirement processes, and estate planning. He has authored news articles for papers such as the Senior Forum and spoken at more than 300 public venues on his series, \u201cCommon Mistakes Retirees Make.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jim grew up in Uhrichsville, Ohio. After high school, Jim joined the United States Army where he served for four years. Serving in Fulda, Germany on the boarder patrol when East and West Germany were united and then Desert Storm and Saudi Arabia, he received many honors such as the Good Conduct Medal, Army Achievement Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Overseas and National Defense Medals, and his Military Combat Patch. Now Jim resides in Canal Fulton, Ohio with his wife, Joanne. They have two adult children and four grandchildren. \u00a0When he is not in the office or sitting face to face with his client, Jim hosts a radio show on WNIR 100.1 FM every Sunday afternoon from 2:00pm-3:00pm called \u201cRetirement Strategies.\u201d <\/strong>The show has found much success in the passed 11 years!<\/p>\n

\nOffice Administrator, Compliance Officer<\/em><\/p>\n

Joanne D. Mundell is the primary office administrator with the Mundell Group, where she also holds the very important role of compliance officer for the company. She has devoted her professional career to the family business for 12 years.\u00a0 She has extensive experience in customer service and regulatory requirements.\u00a0 Her recent activities include working with the public to maintain client relationships as well as a liaison with partnering companies. Joanne has assisted in the growth and development of the Mundell Group and Mundell Asset Management, LLC where the core values of the \u2018team planning approach\u2019<\/em> and a \u2018mutual selfless concern for the well-being of others and their futures\u2019<\/em> have become the first priority.<\/p>\n

Joanne resides in Canal Fulton with her husband, James and a husky named Xander. Joanne loves to spend her free time with her many grandchildren. Joanne has become the backbone of office moral and brings liveliness to all in her path! Joanne sees herself becoming licensed alongside her daughter, Jordan, in the upcoming years. Although she is undecided on which area she would like to direct her focus, she maintains an impressive understanding in all services of the company.<\/p>\n

\nMarketing Director, Life Insurance Agent, Practice Apprentice<\/em><\/p>\n

Jordan M. Mundell is the marketing director with the Mundell Group, where she is also licensed as a life insurance agent and training to partner with her father and Financial Advisor, Jim Mundell. She has devoted her practice to finance for the five years.\u00a0 She has extensive experience in banking and investment training.\u00a0 Her recent activities include working with the public to educate individuals on the core values of the Mundell Group, which include, \u2018the team planning approach\u2019<\/em> and \u2018a mutual selfless concern for the well-being of others and their futures\u2019<\/em>, as well as the color of money, and the 4 pillars of the U.S. economy.<\/p>\n

Jordan resides locally with her growing family. She works alongside her mother, Joanne, and father, Jim, in Canal Fulton, Ohio where she hopes to grow as a professional and individual. Jordan graduated from Northwest High School in 2011. She attended Shawnee State University for a couple of years until she decided on a major in finance. She started her educational career at Stark State College in Canton, Ohio while also attending Hondros College for life insurance licensing requirements. She currently seeks education and training through Kaplan University as well as daily in the office.<\/p>\n
